Dubuque Photographer Amanda McLeod: A Little of the Old While I Gear Up for the New

Last fall things got hectic with an unexpected move and a lot of clients wanting to have their picture taken before I road (rode?) off into the proverbial sunset.  Because of this – I never really shared a lot of the pictures I was taking on my blog.  And blogging, like any other good habit, was easy to forget about once I was out of the routine of it.  But now, spring is upon us and I am getting ready for one of my biggest photo seasons ever!  I’ve been busy ordering samples of new products, creating a new blog (which will hopefully be unveiled mid-April at this web address!) and learning a lot about my camera that I didn’t already know.  It’s a really exciting time and I can’t wait for April 17th to get here when I officially kick of my spring/summer photo season with the wedding of Ben and Tara in Solon, IA.  (That was a very long sentence with probably more grammatical errors than I care to know about.)

Anyway!  I thought I would start blogging some of those old sessions that I never properly blogged.  First up is Robbie and little Ava.  Their mom was my best friend from third grade up so we go back a long long way.  I was home in November for our ten year class reunion and we got together to do some pictures of her children.

Check out the baby blues on Ava.:)

And Robbie has such long eyelashes…

One thing is for certain.  Jamie knows how to make some beautiful babies!:)
